Cierran 25 comedores comunitarios
Luego de que la Personería de Bogotá realizara visitas de seguimiento a la veeduría realizada en 2010 a 137 comedores comunitarios del Distrito, que son financiados por la Secretaría de Integración Social, esa entidad dio a conocer que en lo corrido de 2012 se han cerrado 25 de estos centros de alimentación que atienden diariamente, en promedio, a más de 300 personas de todas las edades en 18 localidades de Bogotá.
En la localidad de Ciudad Bolívar se encuentran cerrados siete comedores; cuatro en Fontibón; en San Cristóbal y Bosa están cerrados tres comedores, respectivamente. De igual manera, en las localidades de Engativá y Suba se hallan de a dos comedores cerrados. Las localidades de Puente Aranda, Rafael Uribe Uribe, Santafé y Usme cuentan, cada una, con un comedor cerrado.
La situación que presentan la mayoría de los 137 comedores comunitarios del Distrito, que son financiados por la Secretaría de Integración Social, arroja conceptos desfavorables, luego del seguimiento a la veeduría por parte de la Personería de Bogotá a estos centros de alimentación. Aspectos como salubridad, inclusión social y nutrición, entre otros, son desfavorables en un gran número de estos comedores.
La veeduría del ente de control muestra resultados que, si se comparan con los requisitos exigidos tanto por la Secretaría de Salud como por la de Integración Social, arroja un panorama lleno de conceptos desfavorables.
Por ejemplo, en el Componente de Nutrición (un menú balanceado) 82 por ciento de los comedores no cumple con lo establecido por la Secretaría de Integración Social. Igual sucede con el ComponenteIntegral que reúne aspectos como Buenas Prácticas de Manipulación, atención al comensal y condiciones físicas del establecimiento, entre otros, ya que sólo la mitad de los 137 tiene concepto favorable.
En lo que le corresponde a la Secretaría de Salud, la veeduría muestra cómo la salud de los asiduos comensales está en peligro. En este Componente de Sanidad se hallaron, por ejemplo, refrigeradores sucios, ollas manchadas, tapas de las ollas en completo desaseo cubriendo alimentos. Incluso, en algunos de los 137 centros visitados, los lavaplatos son usados para lavar traperos y otros elementos de aseo, sin dejar de mencionar productos cárnicos con fecha vencida y legumbres dañadas.
